The automotive industry has continued to take steps to reduce their environmental footprint by creating more fuel efficient and electric vehicles while cutting back on their waste.

As part of the push to reduce their environmental footprint, many of our customers are looking to find new and innovative solutions to reduce waste and become more eco-friendly. Many of our packaging designs are easily reusable and reduce the amount of waste that heads to our landfills. In instances where our customers’ packaging is expendable, PTP uses recyclable materials wherever possible.

One of our customers in the electric vehicle industry required packaging that was sturdy, lightweight, and recyclable for their automotive parts. Our product development team decided to go with honeycomb, a 100% recyclable, biodegradable, and eco-friendly material which provides strength without weight. This allowed for 100% of the packaging to be recycled after use which made our customer and the environment very happy.
